WHAT IS Laser Engraving
Laser engraving is an extremely unique process where we use a laser to burn the desired design into the card. The result varies depending on the material used. On our black duplex uncoated card stock, the result is an intriguing recessed bronze-like look. Laser engraving on our smooth white cards creates a beige unique tone. On our quick metal business cards laser engraving creates a bronzed gold look, and by contrast, on our standard black metal, the laser engraving has a silver color. Laser engraving can be used to create variable data, text or logos and is a beautiful addition to a design!
DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
Laser engraving yields the following results:
● A bronze colour on our laser engraved metal and paper cards
● A beige tone on our white cards
● A silver/bronze colour on our black metal and luxury black metal cards
● A light gray colour on our original and brushed stainless steel cards
● Laser engraving is not recommended on the following stocks due to the subtle colour it yields:
● Stainless steel with mirror finishing
● Matte gold or mirrored gold metal
● Rose gold metal
Please note:
● Laser engraving is not ideal for fine details. Designs with fine details may appear unclear
● The minimum recommended font size for laser engraving is 6PT
