WHAT IS Spot Color (Offset)

Spot color is a specialized type of printing with which we can apply solid, brilliant color to your business cards. Available on our premium and luxury cardstocks as an upgrade to offset print, it allows for more accurate color matching. Spot color is the ideal way to incorporate your specific branding colors onto your unique card design and can be color matched by using Pantone Solid Coated or Uncoated color codes, respective to the cardstock, as reference. Spot color can be applied full-bleed to color an entire side of a card, and multiple colors can be printed in close proximity to each other.

DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS

● Spot color cannot be purchased separately, it must be purchased in combination with offset print.
● Spot color cannot be utilized for gradients or photographs.
● RockDesign does not guarantee a 100% color match but will use Pantone Solid Coated or Uncoated color codes as reference.
● Coated or uncoated cardstocks must use either Pantone Solid Coated or Uncoated color codes respectively for accurate results.
● If you do not have Pantone color codes assigned to your corporate colors, our designers can assign the closest available matches for you.
